Share Your Soles Foundation

Share Your Soles Foundation is 27 years old. When we started out back in early 1999 kids from the neighborhood in Palos Park, Illinois used to come to my house after school to help me sort shoes on the drive way. They would ride their bikes, walk or have moms drop them off. This went on for a couple years before Catherine Biggane donated us a building in Alsip. Johnathan Vastakis was one of those little kids who came over to volunteer. He’s the handsome young man in the photo sporting the beard. As a grown professional adult, father and amazing friend a leader in the solar industry he brings his team from Linea Energy out to volunteer twice a year.

After “JackandJill Windy City” hosted a very successful shoe drive benefiting Share Your Soles Foundation some of the ladies came out to present us with a very generous monetary donation and jgot the grand tour of our facility.
