Kevin and Michael put an immense importance on rave culture that lead to one of the most creative and passionate environments in music promoting history! A foundation fro experimental marketing of various brands and genere of electronic music tracks and albums and Chicago very own core innovations had worked wit KBA and built it. !!Way before anyone ever used the term "influencer" CORE INNOVATIONS AGENCY founder TONE DESOL established the WRITER'S BENCH Which began seeding its marketing techniques and strategies for music promotion. His product the vinyl records, his strategies the CHICAGO UNDERGROUND RAVE scene. During its original life span this entrepreneurs and marketing genius TONE DESOL had observed AND followed FORMER KBA'ER , Wade Elliot OF CORE INNOVATONS CHICAGO and THOUSAND WORDS magazine. CORE INNOVATION HAD went against the grain of traditional marketing, and dreamed up and executed some of the wildest music promotions of the 90's era! Long before brands music like disco were used to supporting the gay and transgender community. Core innovations with its electronic music show THE RAVE Created deep and immersive experiences for their consumers like djs light shows and record label press releases. Unifying the various brands of electronic music to support an entire community, the underground music / rave community would be exposed to a variety of genre like HOUSE, JUNGLE, TRANCE A HARDCORE .Long before and way after nightlife was considered a marketing channel for electronic music albums Successful branding established a foundation for dj's and music promoters from NY to LA! to sell there brand of music in multiple rooms. . Eventually night clubs gobbled up and destroyed the advertising behemoth THE RAVE ..AND S**T OUT THE ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL.. before it was Interpublic group, KBA employed thousands of creative and ambitious young adults from over 30 cities around the US. Some of those former KBAers have gone on to influence some of the most successful marketing agencies ever. Today "Experiential Marketing" is a billion dollar industry with 100's of agencies --In Chicago we have the COREINNOVATIONS and KBA to thank for its agencies success in visual advertising, hospitality industry marketing and music event planning.
