We're proud to be participating in a vendor open house that centers minority- and women-owned businesses. Organized by the Public Building Commission of Chicago and MB Real Estate, the event is on 11/11 at the Richard J. Daley Center. The Cook County flag is no longer considered a “seal on a bedsheet” thanks to Drew Duffy of Glenbrook South High School, who won a design contest that was open to all Cook County schools. The new flag was raised and celebrated at Daley Plaza this Past Saturday surrounded by Cook County Leaders including CC Board President, Toni Preckwinkle.

Cook County Preparedness Fair is always one of our favorite events of the year! Federal, State, and Local agencies gather at Daley Plaza to distribute information and resources to help residents prepare for emergencies.

The Earth Day 22 theme is “Invest in Our Planet”—what are you doing to uphold this theme? According to the official Earth Day website, there are at least 52 ways to invest in our planet.
