As a proud member of the Prenatal to Five (P-5) Policy Network, PCA America has long championed federal investments in early childhood programs that give every baby a strong start.

Tomorrow, June 23rd at 2:00 PM EST, our Chief Public Policy & Government Relations Officer, Elizabeth Solhtalab, will join fellow early childhood leaders for a virtual congressional briefing, "Every Baby Deserves a Strong Start," to make that case directly to Congress.

The conversation will cover:
🍼 The impact of recent policy changes, including H.R. 1, on babies and families
📈 How stagnant funding and immigration-related actions are affecting early childhood programs
💡 Opportunities to strengthen outcomes for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers.

The House LHHS (Labor, Health and Human Services) Appropriations bill reflects the key priorities that PCA America has championed for families and communities across the country:
• Sustained funding for community-based child abuse prevention
• Sustained funding for ACEs & child maltreatment prevention
• +$1M increase for child sexual abuse prevention research

Prevention works — and we are grateful to see that commitment reflected in this bill. These investments matter.

Tell your Senator to support these programs too: https://preventchildabuse.quorum.us/campaign/161486/
