countdown to the new year | closing out with some snow day shots from early december. i’ve def taken more since but i’ve been in too much of a food coma/post-holiday slump to edit 🙂‍↕️

countdown to the new year (and merry christmas eve 🤶🏾) | may was chaotic but full of art - though not included here, as i dug through my photos i realized i went to more galleries, exhibitions, markets, and museums in may than probably any other month. everyday felt full to bursting in may, like i was experiencing the full range of human emotions every hour. i think i ran off of straight adrenaline but somehow i was still able to slow down enough to capture the rays of light and the depths of the shadows that reflected my daily life.

countdown to the new year | after the whirl of the first quarter, april kept me close to chicago. as mentioned yesterday, after having gotten my fuji xt5 i was eager to get out and explore with it. one of my favorite ways to test new equipment is by going to the lake or the river, no matter how cold it may be outside
