When you sign your son up for mental health support, he’s not just healing... he’s learning life skills too.

Fahim Muhammad, Mental Health Specialist on the school-based team brought an etiquette class to Simeon, showing that growth happens in and out of the therapy room.

Access to mental health isn’t enough. For many young men, there are real barriers preventing them from feeling seen, understood, and supported.

These include:

1. Stigma: 75% of Black men experience mental health challenges but often go untreated due to stigma

2. Lack of representation: Only 5% of the psychological workforce identifies as Black and of that, 17% identified as male according to the American Psychological Association (1 in 100 workers are Black men).

3. Limited access to the right type of care: 56 - 74% of Black men with trauma have unmet mental health needs, and only 26% can access services.

We create safe, culturally grounded spaces where young people can heal, grow, and be themselves.

If there’s a young man in your life who could benefit from support, we’re here to help. Let’s connect today at https://zurl.co/HphzM.
