Meet Oswaldo. After arriving in Chicago with only a week's stay at a police station behind him, Oswaldo found more than just a bed at CCO—he found a community that spoke his language, supported his English studies at Truman College, and stood by him as he signed his first lease.

Now that he’s successfully housed, Oswaldo says his favorite thing is finally having a quiet place to read to his heart’s content. 📖🖤 We are so honored to have been part of his journey to finding home.
