The American Institute of Architects K12 IDEA GROUP is offering a hands-on virtual workshop to encourage chapters in every state to form K12 Outreach committees, providing students and school districts with opportunities to explore careers in the built and natural environment. October 20 4:00 EST . Inspire future designers ans architects!

Every community should host an ECO DAY. For several years, Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, has hosted ECO DAY on the Bay. A morning in summer with bike and running races. Students present their work to Green their school, where they nurture biodiversity alongside landscapers who give away free trees for planting. NEXT.cc has participated for the last several years with UWM American Institute of Architects leaders, sharing steps to Green Dollhouses, Green homes, Green Schools, and Communities

To celebrate it, we’re spotlighting NEXT.cc’s Plant 🌱 and Flowers 🌸 Journeys, where students can explore the wonder of plant life and the vital role it plays in our environment.

Whether it's purifying the air, calming our minds, or brightening our homes, plants are everyday superheroes. 💚

So grab your favorite fern or ficus and take a stroll — or just take a moment to appreciate what plants do for us and how we can help them thrive. You can do it any day!
