The founder of Room2Improv, she used the stage to create a safe space for military veterans to perform with seasoned improvisers and share stories that most wouldn’t come across at a typical comedy venue. I was fortunate enough to be included to help initiate R2I in 2014, and loved seeing how it grew, healed, and brought together walks of life that may have not otherwise intersected.

The example she left is one in which to aspire: to give back and not give up to the very end.
