YouthBuild Proviso Township
Lumity YouthBuild is a FREE program for people interested in construction. It is designed for young people (ages 17 to 24) without a high school diploma who want to advance their lives. We help you earn your GED, learn new skills, and plan your next move.

YouthBuild offers a combination of classroom and hands-on training. You’ll learn skills such as reading blueprints and using power tools. You’ll put your new talents to work building cabinetry and furniture and installing drywall. Throughout your training, you’ll have the support of the Lumity team to help guide and mentor you. At the end of the experience, you’ll be equipped with certifications—like OSHA 10 and NCCER—that will help you qualify for well-paying jobs.
