Quiddity Solutions

Quiddity Solutions was one of nine startup companies chosen to participate in the 2018 American Hospital Association Executive Forum: Addressing Disruption Through Innovation and Value. Robert presented to an audience of C-Suite hospital executives regarding the Quiddity Solutions Platform for price transparency and Value-Based Care (VBC) decision support in healthcare. Discussions centered on the two essential features of the platform:

(1) delivering the latest care plan guidelines and clinical information (from trusted sources) to doctors' fingertips for any given diagnosis and shows how treatment components measure up based on efficacy

(2) displaying the exact cost/reimbursement data for all treatment options, based on an individual patient's specific health plan with their current health insurance payer

Participants expressed genuine interest and excitement for the software which calculates provider cost, patient cost, and payer reimbursements in real-time, based on an individual patient’s specific health insurance plan and enables VBC discussions/decisions at a point when they can actually make a difference…during the time of treatment planning.

Robert Gerovski was honored to represent Quiddity Solutions as a featured speaker in a panel discussion for university entrepreneurs from Northwestern University’s NUvention Medical program. NUvention Medical is a competitive, interdisciplinary experiential learning program designed to expose students to the entire innovation and entrepreneurial life cycle of new medical technologies. Robert spoke to the realities of getting a startup off the ground and shared his experiences in creating Quiddity Solutions LLC., a healthcare IT startup focused on price transparency in healthcare.

Quiddity Solutions participates in Kellogg Expert Collective on Trust in Value-based Healthcare

The collaboration was set up to address issues and opportunities for building and maintaining trust issues as a foundation for creating a value-based healthcare system that works for all. Topics included bundling services in healthcare with a goal to identify unique and insightful perspectives on systemic challenges. Robert contributed to discussions regarding price transparency and evidence-based treatment planning in healthcare.

A recurring theme among group discussions included the need for price transparency to develop trust. A value-based healthcare system can only work if the cost of care is revealed to all stakeholders at a point when it can make a difference. There is a demand from practitioners to connect the cost of care to treatment planning and were very engaged by the Quiddity Solutions model.
