Chicago Mini Musicians

I subbed for our Chicago classes today, and my morning started with a dad saying "Wait! Are you THE Ms. Clara? Can I give you a hug?"

He went on to share that my songs have stopped countless infant tears, saved many car rides, and even helped one of their daughters get through her recovery from surgery. It was one of the most heartfelt moments of gratitude for my music that I've ever received.

I say all the time that the benefits of our music classes extend far beyond the classroom, and my interaction with this family today was such a wonderful reminder of why I do what I do.

On this last day of 2023, I'd like to honor the holiday season coming to a close by sharing a video of one of our Mini Musicians alum singing live on WGN's Daytime Chicago!

It's beyond rewarding to see former students continue to love and appreciate music as they grow older. This particular Mini Musician's journey with music began in our Munchkin Maestros class in 2013 when he was just 5 months old, and he was in our musical community for three straight years (joined in the later years by his little brother)!
