Bookwallah attended Good Deeds Day on May 11, and it was a truly special experience. We had the opportunity to connect with people who shared a common mission: to create positive impact in their communities.
Our DIY bookmark-making stall became a simple yet meaningful way for people to pause, get creative, and contribute. It was heartwarming to see so many hands come together to create something with purpose.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped us celebrate the joy of creativity, connection, and giving back. 💛

Can you remember a story that changed the way you saw life as a child?
Stories have always been one of the ways humans make sense of the world around us. They help us understand ourselves through the characters, navigate difficult emotions, and imagine possibilities beyond what we can see.
At Bookwallah, we believe in the profound impact that a storybook can have on a child's life. For children who have experienced trauma or grown up in difficult circumstances, their reality can often feel defined by limitation and hardship.
That's why creating a consistent safe space matters. Through books, conversation, and connection, children are given the opportunity to explore their emotions, build resilience, and discover perspectives beyond their immediate reality.
