Reclaiming the Freedom to Be Human 🇺🇸 07/02/2026

Every July, we celebrate our freedom in the United States 🇺🇸
But this year, let’s also celebrate…

The freedom to think our own thoughts 😀

The freedom to create before we consume 🎨

The freedom to sit in silence 🧘‍♀️

The freedom to trust our intuition ✨

The freedom to let our unique imagination run wild 🐎

The freedom to be fully present with the people we love.❤️

This month’s edition of The Human Advantage explores why protecting our human qualities in a world driven by AI may be one of the most important acts of independence we can practice.

What does “the freedom to be human” mean to you?

Reclaiming the Freedom to Be Human 🇺🇸 250 Years of Independence — and a New Kind of Freedom Worth Fighting For Every Fourth of July, we celebrate freedom in the United States of America. We gather with family and friends, watch fireworks light up the sky, and reflect on the independence our nation fought so hard to achieve.

Something exciting is happening THIS Friday! 🎉

I’m honored to be speaking at the Women Speaker Friend-a-thon — an 11-hour celebration of women’s voices in business.

You can catch my 11-minute session during the AI Power Hour (9–10 AM CT), where I’ll be talking about

The Human Advantage — why human skills like connection, presence, creativity, and communication matter MORE than ever in an AI-driven world.

AI can take our jobs, but they will never take our personality ❤️

Another fun filled evening of tennis and wellness in the books at The Racket Club!

Last Friday’s RALLY and RESTORE: Ladies Evening of Tennis and Wellness reminded me of something important:

Ladies are craving space where they can move, breathe, recover, laugh, connect, and socialize!

Not at a bar, but on the courts!

We spent the evening with an amazing cardio tennis routine with USTA Midwest Executive Director and Coach Gina Jasovic! And Schrama, assisting in making us sweat till we bled! 🎵

We stretched and relaxed, shared food, cocktails and conversation, and a few even took home fantastic raffle gifts thanks to Vulcan Room, Shelby Nariss Younge of Glow de Vivre, and Herbert’s Saltbox Bakery.

Thanks to Lynille Steffenhagen who provided relaxing Massage Therapy treaments and to Smith Physical Therapy+ and April Flood, PT who released tension with Dry Needling technique and soft tissue therapy!

Thanks to the awesome Rob Laue of The Racket Club! Who always accommodates us at the highest level.

Thank you to everyone who came, collaborated, supported, and helped create such a meaningful experience.

More to come!✨
