Just days ago, Paris and his daughter were living in the Salvation Army shelter. Today, they have a home, clothes, toys, food, and most importantly, a community standing behind them. It all began with a kind heart from Miranda McMahon with The Lice Angels, and it grew because of neighbors like you who care.
So grateful to witness the moment their lives changed. Since meeting the Dupree family last week, I’ve spent time getting to know them and I’m truly invested in seeing them win. All it takes is one person in the community to make a difference and this is a testament of that. Big thank you to Mattress Firm South Texas for collaborating with KRIS 6 News and myself to donate a brand new bed for Paris.💛 These are the stories that remind us how powerful our community can be. I am deeply inspired by you all.

McKenzie has crowned Miranda and I as her newest best friends. What an honor. Paris’ birthday is December 31. Best believe, we will be celebrating. There’s a lot to be thankful for.
