Lunch at TAVA Indian Restaurant and Bar always hits the spot. Tandoori Chicken, Bhindi Masala (okra), Chicken Makhani, Basmati Rice, Garlic Naan, and Carrot Halwa. Everything was excellent!

Minnie Bird Tenders, Minnies, and Wrap Combos for a late lunch in Oak Brook today. Not pictured, Strawberry Shortcake Soft Serve and Twist Soft Serve. 6 different dipping sauces available, self serve.

Lunch at Lao Hu Tong. My favorite dishes were the Shrimp Dumpling Seaweed Soup and the Shrimp Shu Mai. The Berkshire Pork Soup Dumplings, Baby Bok Choy, and Beef Noodles were also excellent. The mango and taro drinks were very thin (not smoothies or freezes), but not too sweet.

.halohalo and JCO doughnuts make the perfect afternoon snack! The Presidential (and all their halo halos) is made with frozen milk, so it’s super creamy and you don’t need to worry about the ice or tap water! The doughnuts reminded me of fluffy Krispy Kremes. The slivered almonds were a lovely addition.
