For Partner Charlie Terry, the decision to become a lawyer was rooted in the values he grew up with.

His father was a union worker who believed deeply in standing up for the people around him — and he encouraged Charlie to do the same.

That perspective shaped Charlie's decision to pursue law.

Today, at Gould Grieco & Hensley, Charlie focuses his career as an attorney on helping people through some of the most devastating moments of their lives — representing families torn apart by wrongful death, individuals severely injured in construction and industrial accidents, victims of medical malpractice, and survivors of sexual abuse and assault.

It’s work that means fighting for real people — and standing up to some of the most powerful corporations and institutions when justice demands it.

Having served at some of the oldest, most prestigious trial firms in Chicago on both the Defense and Plaintiff side, Charlie brings his robust litigation and trial experience to SGGH where he’ll continue to advocate for individuals and families of loved ones who have been injured or killed in catastrophic workplace incidents, truck and motor vehicle collisions, and product defects, while also representing victims of mass torts and sexual abuse.
