MAT Cares

We will address this issue one last time as it seems that although many from the environmental bully group don't like or they participate in commenting with negative posts or share our posts in order to again "bully", not sure what else you call it. Here are some points for everyone that is "watching" these posts:
#1- We are ALL entitled to an opinion. We may not agree on that opinion but we are entitled nonetheless. Therefore, because you don't agree doesn't make you right or able to criticize someone else's viewpoint. Frankly, that is what had divided us so much these days.
#2-Our original status was to acknowledge that a community newspaper which had been created in 2012 (from website) long before and has been covering community issues since does not suddenly need to create stories or show bias towards someone in order to remain a community newspaper that reports on community news.
#3-The reaction of a small group of individuals who like to laugh, ridicule, and not show common respect by sending emails and making comments that are rude and snarky to show how righteous they are, is unnecessary.
The truth is, we can all coexist in our community. So instead of hurling insults, and laughing at people, maybe we should take some time to just realize that we all have our own opinion and agree to disagree.

the Environmental Bullies are at it again, bullying anyone who doesn’t stay on their narrative that they want to promote.
We support McKinley Park News in their ongoing effort to provide quality and unbiased reporting to a community the relies on it.
After all their credible reporting the environmental bullies have decided they would like to create a nefarious plot to discredit their objective writing.
McKinley Park News - Notes On Our Reporting About MAT Asphalt McKinley Park News Publisher Justin Kerr details the depth the publication's news coverage of MAT Asphalt and the controversy surrounding it, and the high ethical and operational journalistic standards from which the McKinley Park News operates, in a Letter from the Editor.

A question we are often asked is:
If MAT Asphalt was not producing asphalt would asphalt plants cease to exist in our city? And the answer is NO!
And actually MAT is the newest, most technologically advanced and environmentally efficient plant probably in the State of Illinois.
Further, if we weren’t producing other older more environmentally outdated plants would producing more of the loads.
