Doctoring Differently
I share this story in every talk, webinar, podcast episode, and lecture I give. Some people would call it my villain origin story (me, I’m some people) 😈
Doctors do not have to stay in corporate or academic jobs that don’t value our time or labor. Resigning from a job that didn’t care if I contracted tetanus at work opened up a world of possibilities that I would have never otherwise known was possible. 💫
I sat down with Tyler Olsen, CFP to try to figure out why doctor’s relationship with money is so complicated. And why the institutions collecting profits off of physician labor conveniently tell us not to be in it for the money.

Are Physician Contracts Negotiable? 🤔📝
I had a great conversation with about physician negotiation power. My takeaways:
💡Give yourself enough time. You’ll accept a bad offer when you’re rushed and desperate.
💡Evaluate multiple offers across different cities and states.
💡Don’t be afraid to walk away from a bad deal. Don’t settle. You have the power.
I had a great conversation with Dr. Amy Fogelman about how physicians of honestly and integrity must take part in medical expert witness work. Our expertise is saught everywhere and our knowledge can even help prevent frivolous lawsuits against other physicians. ⚖️
