Musashiya Ramen

Musashiya Ramen

At this point I think we are committed to tasting every bowl of Ramen the city has to offer and this week we found another comfy spot nestled in Lakeview; @musashiyaramen!

Let’s talk bowls 👀🍜

I went ALL IN on the Shrimp Tempura Tonkotsu 🍤🔥
This one is a full experience. Rich, savory tonkotsu broth with that deep pork flavor, perfectly cooked noodles (because you get to literally choose exactly how you want your noodles cooked), and then BOOM—crispy shrimp tempura sitting right on top.
The contrast here is fun… crunchy, juicy shrimp + silky broth = absolute 🔥
Every bite just kept getting better.

Romeo decided to pull a me and said let’s switch it up 😎👇

Geso Karaage Curry Udon 🍛
This one SPARKLES. Thick, chewy udon noodles swimming in a rich Japanese curry that’s warm, savory, and just straight up comforting.
Then you’ve got the crispy fried squid (geso karaage) bringing that crunch and a little extra flavor punch.
This is the kind of dish that hugs you back.

The vibe 💭
Low-key, no-frills, BYOB energy where the food does ALL the talking.
Perfect for when you just want to lock in with a bowl and forget the world for a minute.

Final take 🎯
The setting is relaxing and comfy, the ramen is YUM and customizable to your tastes and the broth is cleanly crafted and tasty. You can’t go wrong with any of the ramen selections but don’t be afraid to snag a bowl of the udon which radiates tasty curry flavors. Regardless of what you eat don’t forget to build in time for that nap afterwards because you’re going to finish every bite. 😴🍜
