What a lovely thing to bask in our creations, taking action on daydreaming. The beautiful conundrum of being creative is the therapeutic healing of creation itself versus the vulnerability of sharing the outcome publicly. There is something very liberating of letting go of the false narratives in our minds and embracing and nurturing our creative voice. As I walk around my space, curated by the many pieces I have created, including on the walls themselves, I am filled with gratitude and the momentum to create and share all the more.

Staircase At Dawn
Proud to have this piece as a part of the Ivory and Ink Show on April 5th from 6 - 10

This piece was shot on an early Chicago morning, during the Winter Solstice, when the light was perfectly and naturally bright and diffused. The light beaming through the window of this crooked staircase, created a blanket of shadows, revealing the essence of the ghosts, lingering in this old building.

The wooden frame, I hand painted and distressed, so that the whole pice together is more than a mere picture and frame , but a whole story.

The image is printed on 100% Cotton paper, matted and framed.
