“It Was Written” is a historical documentary and feature length definitive history of Chicago graffiti culture, telling the story of one of the most important cultural art forms of the 20th century and the struggle to keep the expression alive in a system determined to eradicate it.

A couple years in the making, and 50% complete, this project is labor of love and coproduction between and director of “Sharkula; Diarreah of a Madman” fame.
