For the past 35 years, we have proudly convened civic, business, government and faith communities to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This annual King Holiday Observance has become a time of reflection, renewed commitment to Dr. King’s principles of nonviolence, equal rights and justice, and an opportunity to refuel for the fight ahead.

This year will be no different.

In a time of deep division and distrust in our democracy, Dr. King’s work and teachings serve as a beacon of light and guide for how to rebuild and work towards a more perfect union.

Join us for PUSH for Excellence’s 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, aptly themed “The Journey of Hope and Healing.” The celebration kicks off with a Day of Service and Learning on Saturday, January 18, featuring powerful speakers, impactful seminars and community service projects. Then, join us for our annual MLK Breakfast on Monday, January 20 to celebrate fellowship, scholarship, and the lasting legacy of Dr. King. More details can be found below.
