Twinkle Goods

While we were wandering around Thessaloniki, I stumbled across the most charming little knitting shop tucked into the corner of a local market: . And of course… I had to go in. Because when you travel, you’re supposed to experience the local culture… and yarn definitely counts, right? 🧶

The shop is especially known for their t-shirt yarns used to make bags, and they had so many beautiful colors it was almost impossible to choose. After a solid amount of staring, debating, and probably looking slightly unhinged while petting yarn, I finally landed on this rich emerald green.

Seeing all the gorgeous bags and yarns in the shop sparked a little inspiration. I’ve started brainstorming a midsize project bag design that I’d love to prototype in the future.

Of course… it’s now been officially added to my ever-growing “projects I absolutely must make” list. You know, the one that grows faster than I can knit. 😂

One of the things I love most about knitting is the ability to customize — because who says patterns are the boss? 😄🧶
I’ve been playing around with this hat pattern for a while and decided it was just a little too long for my taste. So… I’m experimenting with more of a skull cap vibe this time.
Will it turn out exactly how I’m picturing it? 🤔
Knitting is always a bit of a surprise — but that’s half the fun! Stay tuned to see what I end up with.
