What are Customer Insights? Why do they matter?

When a company employs comprehensive measures to gather customer data and in order to understand and analyze their behaviors, it is producing Customer Insights.

Why bother?

They can use these insights to improve their processes or products, to expand their service offerings and to deliver a more personalized and tailor-made experience for their customers.
