Studio Paradeyes

This post goes out to my high school mentor who is currently running for Congress. I met this amazing woman when I was 15 years old, and she mentored our tiny 9th grade class all the way through senior year. She would invest her time every month speaking to our class or bringing guest speakers. She invited us down to Columbus to visit. I would also see her around the city at other speaking events. Whenever she would show up at our door with her stiletto heels, silky complexion, stoic demeanor, and self-assured speaking voice, I would say to myself..."I want to be like her when I grow up". A woman who knows what she wants, trusts in God, holds her head high, and invests her heart into others. This week, God gave us the opportunity to reconnect after 7 years when I booked a job photographing action shots of an interview she was filming (those photos coming soon 😉). But I say all that to say...I hope I made you proud. None of the time you gave was wasted.
