Well here it is! "14 Eyes". This mural was done for Helping Hand which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities in Chicagoland. The title "14 Eyes" represents the 14 Helping Hand students that helped me paint the mural. There are also 14 eyes throughout the painting. Some are obvious, and some are not so obvious – which will hopefully make it fun for Helping Hand students and clients to figure it out. All the eyes and faces are also different shapes and colors. This represents the diversity of everyone who is a part of Helping Hand. Everyone is different and unique and has their own abilities, but when are brought together, they make a beautiful and awe-inspiring place which is represented in this mural.
