Customer Profile: Small with < 15 employees seeking compliance and eventually certification. Targeting business for General Electric which requires (Per Manual). Urgency to turn on Sales quickly.
Problem:
Limited prior ISO management experience in team. No qualified ISO Champion.
/ not aware of what is completely entailed.
Limited documentation exists for current processes and operations.
Process Owners not clear on what their "roles" are in the program.
No pre-established budget.
OPSQC Solution:
Performed Gap Analysis of current operations to :2015 standard.
identified the ISO Champion to drive the process from within.
Educated the team on each of their roles in the ISO process.
Established metrics and necessary Process Diagrams.
OPSQC templates utilized by Process Owners to produce necessary documentation in 4 weeks.
Formal training on focus areas: Calibration; Corrective Action; Internal Audit.
Facilitated Management Review.
Weekly check in on Corrective Actions from Management Review.
Supported Customer compliance onboarding walk through at week 6.
Continued to support Internal Audit activities.
Results:
Customer approved client as ISO9001 compliant with no findings and approved them as a vendor allowing them to take on new business.
