Ingredients:
-3 cups flour
-1 tsp baking soda
-2 tsp ginger
-1 tsp cinnamon
-½ tsp cloves
-½ tsp salt
-¾ cup butter, softened
-¾ cup brown sugar
-1 large egg
-½ cup molasses

Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
-Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
-Cream butter and sugar, then beat in egg and molasses
-Gradually combine dry and wet ingredients
-Roll dough, cut with cookie cutters, place on baking sheet
-Bake 8–10 min until firm
-Cool, decorate, and enjoy!
