Writer in The Making
Waiting,
Waiting,
Waiting,
no one waits.
There’s no patience given,
but they want all the time in the world.
They take advantage of kindness,
favors then become expectations.
No questions asked
No f***s given.
Kindness is no longer free if
kindness costs what little of it one has left.
They expect agreements with
smiles and no turn downs.
It is like that.
It is always like that.
And so,
the inner of one’s self
begins to crumble upon itself.
Guilt eats away at the soul,
And thoughts of criticism
come from them unpolished.
Life is but a waiting game.
