🤝 Today, we shine a light on the impactful work of our partner, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Jackson County. Their dedication to creating safe, supportive environments for children aligns fully with our mission at GEFF. We proudly support their child abuse initiative to ensure that girls have the foundational safety and support necessary for education to thrive.

Reflecting on an impactful collaboration with our amazing partners at the Boys and Girls Club of Oregon and Be Prepared. Period! 💪✨

Through The Girls’ Guide to Puberty & Period program, we provided fourth and fifth-grade girls in Southern Oregon with essential education on puberty and menstruation. 🩸

Together, we’re helping young girls feel prepared, and supported as they approach this new chapter.

Children’s books that empower young girls can positively influence their development and self-esteem in many ways. 📚

âś… Building Confidence: Strong female protagonists serve as role models, inspiring girls to trust in their abilities and overcome obstacles.

âś… Expanding Imagination: Diverse characters introduce a world of possibilities, nurturing ambition and creativity by allowing girls to envision themselves in various roles.

âś… Promoting Resilience: Stories that depict girls overcoming challenges teach valuable lessons in resilience and determination, helping them navigate real-life obstacles.

"Knowledge is power" and we wholeheartedly believe in this!

Join us in our mission to ensure that every girl has access to quality education.

We’re proud to shine a light on our partner, Hope for Girls @ Visa, a powerful force in the fight against Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM) and child marriage in Kenya. 🙏

Their work provides girls with education, and the opportunity to shape their own futures.

Earlier this year, Hope for Girls @ Visa ran an impactful mentorship cohort program covering critical topics like awareness, self-esteem, decision-making, menstrual hygiene, and peer pressure coping mechanisms—all aimed at helping girls resist the pressure to undergo FGM.
