What can leaving your hometown in your twenties do for you?

For me, it gave me the opportunity to develop the ability to enjoy my own company.

1. I became my best friend.
2. I became self reliant.
3. I learned how to figure things out.
4. I learned how to manage my money.
5. I got in touch with my inner self and identified what I truly stand for.
6. I understood the value of family.
7. I learned the difference between need and want.
