Today, I read a screenplay - and it was terrific. A truly GREAT screenplay. I am being offered a challenging role. A major role. One of four major roles. I cannot share details... [sorry!] but I am experiencing the best kind of "natural high" that exists. Sorry I cannot share more -- except to say this is the best thing that happens to an actor. A GREAT role in a GREAT screenplay. So, yeah, I am kind of "pumped" right as of this moment. Just had to share that... Sometimes, great things do happen. I wish the same, for everyone. I mean that. --Hope I can go to bed at a decent hour!

CANCEL THIS MOVIE -- is coming soon. I play one of the leads -- Steve Muskerberg. He is a hybrid or compilation of Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos... and perhaps the worst elements of all of them -- all rolled into one... I have seen two rough cuts... This movie is going to amaze.

S2 Digital Films is hard at work on its next project.

About a year ago, a very talented filmmaker / storyteller / cinematographer suffered a very tragic loss – the death of his young adult son.

This award-winning local Chicago talent-- John Wesley Norton experienced the tragic loss of his son – Logan Norton -- who was a very talented sound recordist in the film industry.

That event led John Wesley Norton to write a screenplay for his next feature film, inspired by this collective grief, and loss, and how to cope and deal with such issues.

This new Screenplay is called “The Empty Church.” I had the privilege of reading it – and it is beautiful, and powerful.

John is currently seeking investment funds, as well as GoFundMe dollars, to ensure this project can happen. He hopes to shoot this in the second half of September.

He is actively seeking more money – and I fully support him in this. This film deserves to be made.

Some of John’s previous work can be seen in “For Hannah” (more than 25 wins at film festivals), and “Fangs Vs. Spurs” (awards, at several film festivals), and “The Misadventures of Mistress Maneater” (another award winner) and “Private Screening” (another Award Winner) – and many more.
