🏡 Chicago’s New HomeGrown Grant Program Could Help Buyers Receive Up To $70,000 Toward A Home Purchase

The City of Chicago recently launched a new down payment assistance program designed to help eligible buyers purchase a home in the city.

Program highlights:
✔️ Up to $70,000 available in certain areas
✔️ Can be used toward down payment and closing costs
✔️ Available for single family homes, condos, townhomes, and 2 unit buildings.
✔️ Buyer must occupy the property as their primary residence
✔️ Homebuyer education course required
✔️ Buyers must have a property under contract before applying
✔️ Current homeowners are not eligible

This program is first come, first served and subject to funding availability.
