The storms couldn’t slow down the conversations, connections, and community at our Women in CRE: Sip & Network event. ✨This special evening brought together women across commercial real estate to celebrate leadership, build relationships, and recognize the impact women continue to make throughout our industry.

Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails, a beautiful charcuterie display, and a flower bar — a creative touch that let attendees take a piece of the evening home. 💐

It’s ! Meet our 2026 Single Course Scholar, Casey Russo (Amtrust Realty).

Originally from South Jersey, Casey joined AmTrust after moving to Chicago in search of a new career path. What began as a temporary role quickly grew into a career in commercial real estate, leading to her current position as a Construction Coordinator on AmTrust’s in-house construction team.

Casey recently started the Design, Operations, and Building Maintenance Systems course, which perfectly ties into her new role in construction. She looks forward to building connections throughout the industry and is excited to see where this opportunity will continue to take her.

The Communications Committee partnered with the Emerging Leaders Committee for a collaborative working session focused on how to better connect young professionals to the commercial real estate industry and encourage long-term involvement.

The group discussed ideas for a future onboarding and engagement toolkit featuring networking, education, Emerging Leaders, and professional development opportunities. A special thank you to 333 West Wacker (Hines) for hosting!

More than 150 emerging leaders, industry partners, apprentices, and CRE professionals came together for an incredible evening of networking at 225 W Randolph (Onni). From the stunning amenity lounge to the rooftop terrace overlooking the Chicago skyline, the space created the perfect backdrop for meaningful conversations and new connections across our industry. Chicago Public Schools Board Members Ellen Rosenfeld and Carlos Rivas, both elected in 2024, joined our Taxation Committee for a discussion on CPS budgeting, levy practices, and board actions impacting our members and taxpayers across the city.

This November’s General Election will mark a historic first, with all 20 CPS districts and a citywide Board President elected by voters.
