Hello all! My name is Felix. I am a former banker of 21 years turned financial services professional in the life insurance and retirement space and photographer. I started becoming interested in photography a long time ago while being the guy behind the camcorder taking our family videos. I didn't know that learning to take home videos would teach me how to frame what I saw in a way that I could create beautiful images. I started volunteering my time helping my wife create video content for Queens Redeemed, and volunteered to take photos for The Autism Hero Project. These factors helped me to take my craft more seriously! I couldn't wait to get out from behind my desk at work! I needed something to reinvigorate my imagination and creativity! You know... when you work, but it doesn't feel like work because you love what you do?? That's me now! And so now, not only am I on a mission to help people protect their lives and loved ones financially through life insurance with my amazing wife and business partner Amanda, but I'm also on a journey to capture moments that people wouldn't have seen otherwise, and locking in their story in photos where these moments would otherwise be lost. Creating compelling images that tell a story of redemption is huge for me! Redemption has been a very important theme in my life, especially since Jesus has redeemed me. I believe when you keep Jesus in Focus, everything else becomes clear! And so FStop316 was born! Welcome to my page!
