We culminated the inaugural National Temp Worker Convening Temp Worker Convening with a collective action to push support for passing the New Jersey Temp Worker Bill Of Rights S511!

This weekend Temp Worker Justice and National Legal Advocacy Network hosted the inaugural National Temp Worker Convening in New Brunswick, New Jersey at the Rutgers Labor Education Center.

Organizations that focus on Temp Worker organizing, legislation and legal advocacy as well as a number of Temp Workers from all over the country were in attendance.

States represented, NY, NJ, TX, MA, IL, FL.

We engaged in strategic planning, had thoughtful discussion about the future of Temp Workers Organizing and heard directly from Temps about their struggles within the Temporary Staffing Industry.
