Smart but needs structure. He slept in hus crate last night, only cried a bit and was peaceful the rest of the night. He gets zoomies and runs in circles in the yard.

He's charming and funny and will make a family so happy. Also loves to play fetch!

Meet Fidel!🐾✨

Fidel is a 1 year old Chihuahua Terrier mix. This sweet guy is very affectionate and playful. Fidel loves other dogs and cats, but is a puppy so could benefit from some training to teach him how to appropriately play with his friends. He would make a perfect family dog as he comes from a home with lots of commotion and kids. We are currently looking for foster to adopt candidates for him. If you think you would be a good fit, please complete a foster application.

Not sure what foster to adopt is? Foster to Adopt allows the dog and the family to spend roughly 2 weeks together before being eligible for adoption. Should those two weeks go well, the foster gets first rights to adopt! During the foster period, Nelrose provides all food, medical attention, leashes, collars, food bowls - everything and anything that the dog needs to be comfortable.

BoBo is a 6 year old Cavapoo (half Cavalier, half Poodle). Typical of this breed, he is highly intelligent and very attached to his people. He has spent his whole life as the center of his humans’ world. He currently is on anxiety medication and would benefit from behavior and/or agility training to help curb his resource guarding and separation anxiety. The adopter will be someone who is familiar with the breed and willing to commit to mandatory behavioral and/or agility training, which Nelrose Rescue will assist with.

Due to the nature of BoBo needs, we will not look at first time pet owners or families with young kids in the home as he needs an environment that is calm and a confident human while he works through his anxieties.

And sweet Kenzie girl gets to be the city gal she was destined to be with her best friend and new furever dad. We can't wait to hear about all your patio and lakefront adventures.
