Giving This Mother's Day!

Hi my name is Smuckers and I am a lab mix. I was sadly abandoned by my previous owners, that l thought would always take care of me. I am guessing they left me because l was about to have puppies. I was roaming the streets for days hoping someone could help me. During this time I was very close to having my babies. I was scared that I would have to go through the tough birth process alone. I did meet a few friendly people that wanted to take care of me but l was too scared of getting abandoned again so l just kept running away from them. I then met this friendly man who gave me some good treats and took me to the Animal Welfare League. When I arrived at the AWL, I was greeted with happy faces. I was so excited when they fed me some delicious dog food, soft bedding and some loving care. I instantly felt so much better, since my babies and l did not eat for days. Just a few days later, I gave birth to my babies. As a mother, I am so grateful my babies and I
were able to eat. I hope that all other expecting moms can have the same experience as l did.

As Mothers Day is approaching, I have a favor that I think you could help with. Would you please be able to make a donation to AWL so we can continue to help other moms and their babies? Your assistance would truly help tour moms and so many of their babies that come through our doors. Any kind of donation would be very much appreciated. ~ We Need Your Help ~
We are currently in need of Small Dog Dry Kibble and Wet Dog Food. We could use some donations of 5lb bags of Small Dog Kibble and canned dog food, pouches of wet dog food, or containers of pate such as Ceasars or any other brand.

Haruki is one of our adopted animals and stopped by to share in the game day excitement. He is one of our favorite supporters and came to AWL wearing his Game Day uniform. We were all so happy to see Hariku and his Dad. His groomer did an excellent job preparing him for the event. Haruki encourages everyone to adopt an animal from our shelter.
