💔 A Plea for Koa & Alani 💔

Sometimes rescue is filled with joyful moments—watching kittens discover toys, race through the house, and curl up in your lap after a long day of play.

Right now, that isn't the story for Koa and Alani.

These sweet sibling kittens came into our rescue already fighting for their lives. Their tiny eyes were caked shut from infection, and they were struggling with severe upper respiratory infections after being born outside with little chance of receiving the care they desperately needed.

With veterinary treatment, medications, and lots of love from their foster mom, we were hopeful they were turning a corner.

But recently, Koa and Alani began sleeping more and more. The playful kittens who once chased each other around the room no longer have the energy to run, jump, or explore. Their foster mom says the silence is heartbreaking. She misses seeing them wrestle, play, and enjoy being kittens.

A return visit to the veterinarian confirmed our fears—both babies are running fevers again.

They are now receiving three different medications, along with supportive care, hydration, and around-the-clock monitoring. We are doing everything possible to help them recover and give them the healthy, happy future they deserve. They will need to be rechecked by the veterinarian again in two weeks, and the medical expenses continue to grow.

Despite everything they have endured, Koa and Alani remain sweet, trusting little souls. They didn't choose to be born outside. They didn't choose to start life sick and struggling. But they are fighting, and we are fighting right alongside them.

Meet Mario — your future best friend 🖤🤍

Mario is a cute and playful black and white male kitten, born around the end of December 2025. He’s full of energy and loves chasing his toys and zooming through his kitty tunnel like a little pro.

When playtime winds down, Mario shows his softer side. He enjoys sitting by the window, quietly watching birds and squirrels in his foster home, completely entertained until it’s time for a cozy nap on the closest lap.

Mario is as well-mannered as he is adorable. He uses his litter pan like a champ and knows exactly how to use his scratching post. He gets along with other cats with a slow introductory phase.

Nester is an adorable male tabby and white kitten born on February 27, 2026, and he is ready to find his forever family! This playful little guy loves to chase toys, climb, and explore absolutely everything around him. Whether he’s zooming through the house or investigating something new, Nester brings fun and excitement wherever he goes.

When playtime is over, Nester has a sweet and cuddly side too. He loves to snuggle up for cuddles and enjoy some quiet time with his people. He also has excellent litter pan habits.
