American Institute of Steel Construction Steel Day is just around the corner!

Puma Steel is honored to welcome some of the best young welders from across the region to test their skills and earn one of the many Rex l. Lewis welding scholarships that we will be presenting to the top finishers next Friday, October 24th.

Scholarships to be awarded at PUMA SteelDay welding competition CHEYENNE – In celebration of the U.S. structural steel industry, PUMA Steel will host a SteelDays event at 10 a.m. Oct. 24 at 1720 Pacific Ave. in Cheyenne.

We are honored to have been the steel fabricator on this landmark UCHealth project. This project received TWO awards: Excellence in Sustainability and Award of merit by Engineering News-Record!

Best Project, Health Care: UC Health University of Colorado Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion III A $286-million 12-story patient tower now sits on the western side of UCHealth’s Aurora hospital, adding much-needed health care space and services to metro Denver. Completed in May 2024, the tower offers 215 private inpatient rooms, 10 operating rooms and expanded emergency services.
