Painting means colors, and we love colors in all shades. But, what type of paint to pick has always been a frequently asked question. So, we put together a few paint types, and when you should use them.

👉 Oil-based paints: They are best used on surfaces that are frequently used and subject to wear and tear e.g exteriors, floors, doors furniture.
👉 Water-based paints: Should be used on surfaces that are not frequently used e.g ceilings.
👉 Primer: This is important for painting but note that it is not painted, even though they both have the same consistency. Applying primer before paint will increase durability.
👉 Paint sheens: They’re used to improve the sheen of paint. Fairly flat, eggshell, and satin paints are options to consider for better durability.
👉 Enamel: Ensures superb durability and is best used in exteriors, and for indoor surfaces that are very susceptible to wear and tear, like kitchen cabinets, or furniture.
