To our community,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Annex Gaming is closing on June 11th (6/11/2021).

We lasted an entire year, and we cannot be more grateful for our fantastic community that helped us get here. We experienced many tough times over the fall and winter, but we pulled through. Your support meant the most to us and we could not be happier with the community that we built together. We are so proud of you, our community.

Thank you to everyone who has come to the Annex, who has made it fun, who has brought their friends in to play, who has made it a special place, who has partied with us, and who has competed for the glory with us. Special thank you to Wing Shack for believing in us every step of the way, not to mention their continued support of our tournaments, even when we had little turnout.

For those of you who want to know the true reason behind Annex Gaming’s sudden closure, we want to be completely transparent. Due to a rapid, yet steady, increase in business at our next-door and parent business, Geek Garage, they had to expand. We do not have any expansion plans, nor plans to continue, sadly.

For those of you who are wondering about where the equipment will go, all equipment will be sold through Geek Garage after they are thoroughly inspected and tested.

Even though this is really hard news to hear, we want to extend our gratitude to you further by going out with a bang. We will be hosting an Annex Send-Off party on our last day of business, June 11th (6/11), starting at 8:00pm. We will have one free drink per person, tons of free snacks, free party games, a free give away, and of course, free video games for all.

We will also be open until 10:00pm every day and 1:00am on Friday and Saturday. Use your remaining hours or pay $15 for a full day of unlimited play.

Again, thank you so much for your support in this crazy adventure. We hope to stay connected with you through our Discord, and we hope to organize fun events for everyone in the future.
