HB 1461 (2025) was another example of the Indiana supermajority shifting more out of pocket costs onto tax payers when they're already struggling.

Residents in the Region shouldn't have to pay a toll to drive to and from work every day on our highways, that's why I drafted two amendments that were ultimately voted down by Republicans, to stop any new tolls in the Region. We have the most highway systems in our area and we don't need that traffic going onto our local roads making it unsafe for pedestrians.

When heading to the polls this November, think about who's fighting to lower every day costs for tax payers, because it's currently not the supermajority.
