Nothing says May like a cake inspired by the movie "Alien XMas"! An out of this world vanilla cake + buttercream!

My best friend got married today and I had the immense pleasure of providing the cake ♥️ The bottom tier is vanilla cake with lemon curd, while the top is carrot cake with espresso buttercream filling, all covered with cream cheese frosting. Congrats B+E!!

SO COOL. From a wedding back in June, they even CUT IT WITH A LIGHTSABER. It was the epitome of a key lime cake- key lime buttercream, key lime curd filling, key lime flavored cake! The bride's mom hand made each of those beautiful flowers from book pages. Congratulations to the Merritts!
