The end of the school year means that the child/teen that has been seeking you out to talk or to provide a safe space will no longer have access to you until next year. Please consider referring them to a therapist that can support them through the summer months. Sometimes, a referral from a trusted adult is the first step in getting them support. Please share our information for therapy for children and adolescents in VA. We offer in-person and virtual therapy for all ages. We also offer support and therapy for caregivers. Today, Healing Reflections had to privilege to attend Career Day at Laburnum Elementary. We discussed my role as a Play Therapist, understanding and managing emotions and even did some Yoga!! Great to return to the classroom and spend time with the kids!!!
