Lots of schedule changes, transitions and new routines happening this time of the year and we all need ways to regulate. Our rainbow swing by Southpaw Enterprises is one of our favorite pieces of equipment to help get us regulated. Today we climbed around to find Helene Lieberman/pediatric OT + handwriting specialist letter cards to spell how we were feeling. A fun way to support regulation while building letter recognition, hand skills, visual scanning, balance and coordination and emotional awareness.

We were honored to present at the FM Kirby Center and share practical strategies with teachers and caregivers who support children every day. At KidTherapy, we are passionate about empowering our community through education and collaboration. This presentation focused on how communication and self regulation are connected and how intentional changes throughout the day can support children’s participation, learning and success. Here’s to continuing to learn, collaborate, and make a positive impact, one child at a time!
