A lifetime achievement for an amazing eye care specialist and scientist.

This amazing young woman has just won a coveted and famous national fellowship and grant, the one received by mostly famous achievers. She received the award in order to prove that a “visually-impaired” (read that “victoriously challenged”) individual can be fully independent and accomplish many “impossible” goals. Here she is, when she got to live with lions in Africa, just one of her dreams realized. Next year she will return to Africa to teach English to schoolchildren.
