Widener University Science Teaching Center

Today, we kicked off the Virtual Next Generation Scientist Mini-Camp! We have campers from five states and one international camper! This morning, campers had a chemistry session with Dr. Klems where they learned about essential oils and created their own bath bomb! Campers then set up their Moth Madness experiment with Dr. Grant. Campers will collect and photograph moth specimens to share at the end of the week. Campers also constructed a simple spectrometer using a shoebox with Dr. Augensen and Dr. Melhus. This week is filled with many interesting sessions conducted by the talented faculty at Widener University!
