The lineup of trainers already joining the RAKE team is STACKED… and we’re not quite done yet! 💥

Before the big reveal, we’re looking to add two more coaches to round out our training staff.

This isn’t a cookie-cutter turn-key setup. We went with a full interior build-out. Specialty lighting. Reinforced beams to handle heavy-duty nets. Strategic electric placement for our analytics lanes. Every detail done with purpose.

🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: RAKE TRAINING CENTER IS LEVELING UP 🚨

As we approach our public grand opening, we couldn’t be more excited to announce two key partnerships that perfectly capture the vision of the RAKE Training Center.

We are thrilled to welcome certified physical therapists from the Jordan Young Institute working right inside our facility. These experts help athletes safely recover from injuries and return to their sport stronger than ever. Beyond recovery, they place a strong emphasis on injury prevention, working closely with athletes and families so training is done the right way — smarter, safer, and more sustainable.

When it comes to sport-specific strength and performance training, there’s no one better than Beach Fitness & Performance. We’re proud to announce they are expanding into Chesapeake under the RAKE Training Center roof, operating 2,800 square feet of dedicated training space for athletes to train, improve, and reach their full potential. There’s a reason so many of the area’s top athletes — along with elite high school and college programs — already trust BFP.

And this is just the beginning.

RAKE is more than a facility — it’s a complete development environment, bringing performance training, recovery, and innovation together under one roof. Everything an athlete needs to perform, improve, and succeed.

This is what we’ve been building toward.

From all of us at RAKE Training Center, we want to wish the entire softball, baseball and sports community a very Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday season.

This time of year reminds us how special this community is — the families, athletes, coaches, and supporters who pour their hearts into the game and into one another. We are incredibly grateful for the encouragement, belief, and excitement surrounding what’s being built.

As we look ahead to 2026, we are filled with anticipation and purpose as we prepare to open our doors and create a space centered on development, opportunity, and love for the game. We can’t wait to welcome you inside and grow together.
